    Your definately heading in the right direction with the alkaline stuff, its amazing. Your got to keep alkaine through out the day not just in the morning. I did a course with one of your former students PAUL MORT at the weekend and his nutrition stuff is the bomb.

    Try having two drops of iodine in water morning and night, and sodium bicarbonate morning and night to make you super alkaline.

    Im currently adding chlorophyll and ph drops drops to my bottled water and my energy levels have gone sky high and slept more too.

    Try spraying magnesium oil on your thighs and triceps after workouts, increases recovery and cell production.

    You didnt really state what your goals where so hard to comment if your on the right track...

    Hi Steve.

    First of all, to be honest with you - that is a really healthy 'breakfast' or meal for that matter. Cinnamon makes insulin 30 times more potent - so it is great for diabetics. Pepper does the same thing because of the trace mineral Chromium. The only suggestion I would make for you and you might think this is pretty weird: Even though you are drinking your 'meal' you should be chewing it - this enables your natural enzymes (amylase in your saliva, etc.) to start the digestion process. You need to digest your food in order to be able to absorb it and therefore, use it.

    Oh, I would also add - organic white and green teas - don't put milk or sugar in these. Just drink them plain. Some people who eat that much roughage at once, could end up having a irritable bowel syndrome because of the potency. Obviously it seams you have not had any problems with stomach cramps - so you should be ok - however it usually takes about a couple of weeks to really see if this is the case. If so, tone down the greens a little until your body gets use to it. I need to adding some of these things in my morning smoothies...I do most but I will try the raw vegetables - my blender however is not as powerful as yours...but oh well.

    Hey Steve,

    So glad you're using almond milk over soy, way to go! One concern I have is what the rest of your diet looks like. Your ritual looks great, but if you front load your diet with all the good stuff and don't continue that throughout the rest of your day than you may not be getting the most out of your food stuffs. My one recommendation would be to spread out your nutrition so that like, with your tea, you're getting that constant drip of nutrients for your body to feed off of.

    How long do you soak your almonds for? Usually I recommend over night, 8-12 hours, before using them then discard the water.

    How soon after this do you find your body becoming hungry again? With the lack of solid foods I'd assume that it'd be pretty quick, which is not altogether a bad thing if you're prepared for that.

    Also, do you like doing this? It may be fantastic for your health, but as you know if you don't start loving your rituals and seeing them as a part of the life you want to lead you'll drop it.

    Steve,

    I'm a Prograde Nutrition fan especially for shakes and snack bars, but I've also recently been introduced to Eniva Nutraceutics. They've got a few killer products that I'm pretty excited about. I got killer results with their joint support product, Flex. Yeah, they're a MLM which is typically a turn-off for me (I get approached constantly by MLMers). I got a chance to meet the Dr. behind the products (the company is not too far from my home) and I was extremely impressed. As a result, I ended up becoming a distributor and will be sharing the products (that I use) with my boot camp clients.

    I'm definitely not sharing this with you to get you in my downline. That would be very uncool as we don't know each other and this is your blog. I won't even share my link in this comment as I think that's a dick thing to do. I'm not here to solicit your readers. You or they know how to contact me if you want to learn more. I'm not in it for the business anyway. I'm just always on the lookout for top notch products (supplements, equipment, info, etc.) for my boot campers.

    P.S. - Here's my day when it comes to supplements and the like

    When I wake up I take Eniva Flex, Vitamin D, UltraShot.
    Then I slam a Prograde whey protein shake mixed with some l-glutamine and run out the door to get to my 6am boot camp.
    I eat a Prograde Craver in the car or as I'm setting up

    After I class I workout.
    Post-workout is always a Prograde Workout for the perfect carb:protein mix. I put l-glutamine in their as well. I like a shake over "food" for two reasons: 1) I'm so spent from my workout I don't want to make or really eat anything, 2) I've got to fly out the door to get to my next boot camp.

    With lunch, I take my multi-vitamin and EFA. Currently I'm using Prograde's VGF+, EFA Icon, Longevity. I also take another dose of Vitamin D.

    At night before bed I hit another dosage of Flex. I busted my tailbone a few years ago skiing and have had major arthritis pain issues since. The Flex has done an amazing job relieving it. That's what got me hooked on the Eniva products.

    I also mix Eniva Bio-Chlor (greens) into my water throughout the day.

    I will be adding in Eniva's Resvante as soon as it arrives. I'm not sure if you've heard about Trans-Resveratrol. It's a pretty amazing substance. It's basically the youth/longevity chemical in red wine.

    There are some other products that I'm interested in, but I prefer to change one variable at a time.

    Anyway, that ended up being way more than I planned on writing, but it's interesting to me. Hopefully, it is to you as well.

    Looks like you've got a good routine going! You're basically starting your day with every known healthy nutritional recommendation out there. I wouldn't change a thing. Do you usually workout soon there after? How's your energy during your workouts?

    You are absolutely a fun entertaining guy. But as far as the shake looked pretty good. Is there a way for you to get rid of the agave nectar? I'm sure that'd tweak your taste a bit, but everything else, shoot man you got me fired up and ready to add some new things in. Good stuff thanks for sharing.

    It looks like a great supplemental meal. Of course, as mentioned by another, chewing your food is best, but your supplement intake and tea is fairly good. I'd check out Fred Hatfield's stuff because he attempts to base your supplement intake based on your lean mass.

    I'm skeptical that the shake actually tasted good...I usually have a huge bunch of berries in mine, but hemp protein is great. Now for guys that are all into bulking up they will look at the protein content and it isn't much. However, a lot of those protein powders on the market are so expensive and I think your body doesn't absorb most of it anyway. I've heard good things about whey,too. there's a great article on Dr. Mercola's site http://proteinpowder.mercola.com/Whey-Protein-With-Aminogen.html very informative.
    Anyway, I love what you are doing and I'm gonna try my next shake with a bunch of organic spinach thrown in!

    Hey Steve

    Pretty much on the money.

    to supercharge your body add these supplements Moringa, Fibroboost, Maca, DIM, Del immune and reversatrol. Google the benefits blow you away.

    Also when you wake up do the Stanley burroughs cleanes/tea, it has the Cheyenne in it so you get the heat the heat! take your supps with that tea. then 30 minutes do your shake and add the green superfood to that.

    That's my am regiment and its a kicker.

    id personally spread that awesome shake for two meals, along with the pills.

    personally i'm slightly skeptical about supplements in the form of a capusule, in my honest opininon your body doesn't recognise a synthesised 'Vitamin' therefore i don't feel you would gain the full benefit from the pills, i honestly feel that if you were to get your glutamine from say grapefruit it would probably benefit you more, i'm not one for supplementation in general as i always feel food is the better option, as someone said previously maybe that your having an overload of all these products at one time, try spreading them out throughout the day, as for the spinach try wrapping it up in turkey breast 😉 works a treat! my favourite post workout meal!

    Hi Steve,
    My philosophy is to keep it simple and wholesome. The first thing I do when I get up is have three, 8oz glasses of water. For breakfast, it's satisfying to have a free-range veggie omelet, apple slices and a cup of organic green tea. I've switched my protein powder from whey to hemp protein because it was worsening my irritable bowel syndrome.

    I haven't had shakes in a while, and your video has inspired me to give it a try once more. The only problem is that I live in an apartment and don't want to wake my neighbors up by blending a shake at 5am. Would the shake lose any of its potency or taste if made it the night before and sealed it in a container? And how would that affect the protein powder?

    Thanks again for the video and thanks to all the trainers who commented above. I learned a lot of new nutritional tips!

    I think is great! you're looking for health from the inside out as well building a great empire.
    I will sugest to take a form of live nutrients in a concentrate form cause, honestly to keep up with all this items that you use will be hard to balance all of them and get full benefit in your body nutrition. Also a detox in a IONIC way will get you really balance in terms of alkalinity vs acidosis, resulting in better absortion of nutrients even organic ones.
    If you like I can explain more in detail what I do.
